The form was handed over to him on Thursday night at the ADC national secretariat in Abuja by the party’s National Organising Secretary, Chinedu Idigo.
Party supporters reportedly described the development as an early indication of preparedness and political strength.
Speaking after receiving the form, Hayatu-Deen pledged loyalty to the party’s leadership and said he would respect whatever decision is reached regarding the mode of the primary election.
According to him, the ADC leadership has demonstrated wisdom and sound judgment, adding that members are expected to strictly adhere to the party’s rules and procedures.
He noted that it is the responsibility of the party leadership to decide whether the presidential candidate will emerge through direct primaries or consensus arrangements.
The presidential hopeful emphasised that democracy gives every qualified Nigerian the right to seek elective office, stressing that leadership choices should remain in the hands of the people through credible democratic processes.
He acknowledged that the contest would attract several aspirants but maintained that the party’s internal mechanism would determine the eventual flagbearer.
Hayatu-Deen also promised to introduce governance reforms focused on large-scale job creation, reducing the cost of living, addressing insecurity, and cutting poverty significantly within four years.
He argued that Nigeria should not continue to grapple with widespread poverty and insecurity, insisting that citizens deserve better living conditions, safety, and accountable leadership.
The aspirant further pledged practical reforms aimed at rebuilding institutions and restoring public confidence in governance.
Commenting on the prospect of competing against notable contenders such as former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar, Hayatu-Deen expressed confidence in his experience and leadership ability.
He stated that all aspirants would present their best ideas during the primary contest, while insisting that his vision, experience in institution-building, and track record in job creation position him as a strong candidate to lead Nigeria.
