Iran’s military has vowed to carry out “crushing” attacks against the United States and Israel, following remarks by U.S. President Donald Trump, who warned that Washington could strike Iran “extremely hard” in the coming weeks.
In a statement aired on state television, Ibrahim Zolfaghari, spokesperson for Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya military headquarters, dismissed U.S. and Israeli intelligence assessments of Iran’s military capabilities as inadequate.
“They know nothing about our vast and strategic capabilities,” he said, adding that Iran’s missile systems, drones, and air defence infrastructure remain intact despite recent strikes.
According to the Tasnim news agency, Zolfaghari cautioned against underestimating Iran’s strength, stressing that key military production facilities are located in areas “unknown to the enemy and beyond their reach.”
Describing Khatam al-Anbiya as the central command of Iran’s armed forces, he declared that the conflict would persist until the “humiliation, disgrace, and surrender” of the opposing side.
“With reliance on God, this war will continue until your humiliation, your disgrace, your permanent and inevitable regret, and your surrender,” he said.
He further claimed that Iran had already inflicted “strong and unexpected blows” on its adversaries, warning that more “crushing and destructive operations” were imminent.
Meanwhile, in a national address on Wednesday night—his first since the escalation—President Trump said U.S. forces had recorded “swift and decisive victories” over the past four weeks.
“Tonight, I’m pleased to say that these core strategic objectives are nearing completion,” Trump stated, while honouring American service members who lost their lives. “We are going to finish the job, and we’re going to finish it very fast. We’re getting very close.”

Addressing a broad audience, he highlighted what he described as the success of U.S. operations, asserting that Washington’s objectives had largely been met or exceeded.
However, he warned that Iran would continue to face intensified attacks in the short term.
“We are going to hit them extremely hard over the next two to three weeks,” he said. “We’re going to bring them back to the Stone Ages.”
Recent statements from both U.S. and Israeli officials suggest that strategic goals in the ongoing conflict are close to being achieved.
The U.S. Central Command reported on Thursday that it has struck more than 12,300 targets in Iran since the conflict began about a month ago, while the Israeli military said it has hit over 4,000 targets within Iranian territory.
Military operations by the United States and Israel against Iran have continued since February 28. In response, Tehran has launched missiles and drones toward Israel and has targeted what it describes as U.S. bases and interests in Arab countries, with some attacks reportedly causing damage to civilian infrastructure.
