Speaking during a brief ceremony at the APC state secretariat in Gombe, Gwamna said his ambition is driven by what he described as a “New Vision for Continuity and Sustainability.”
He explained that the agenda is aimed at building on existing achievements while introducing forward-looking policies focused on long-term development, inclusive growth, and improved living standards for residents.
Gwamna, widely known as Sardaunan Gombe, pledged to uphold good governance, transparency, and people-centred leadership.
He identified key priorities of his proposed administration to include peace and unity, economic growth, youth and women empowerment, as well as sustainable infrastructure development.
The aspirant also appealed to party members and the general public for their support, expressing optimism about delivering a more prosperous and sustainable future for the state.
In his remarks, the Gombe State APC Chairman, Mohammed Dantata Ndus, welcomed the declaration and wished Gwamna success.
He, however, emphasised the need for unity among party members as preparations intensify for the upcoming general elections, urging stakeholders to work together to secure victory across all levels.
According to a statement issued by Gwamna’s media aide, Mallam Sanni Shawai, the declaration marks the beginning of political realignments ahead of the 2027 governorship election in Gombe State.
