Armed men have reportedly kidnapped the younger sister of former Minister of Power and Oyo State governorship hopeful, Bayo Adelabu, alongside her twin children in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
The incident was said to have occurred in the early hours of Wednesday at the Elewura axis of the Challenge area in Ibadan, when unidentified gunmen stormed the location and whisked the victims away.

Confirming the development, Adelabu’s media aide, Femi Awogboro, disclosed that the victims include the politician’s younger sister and her twin sons, identified as Peter and Paul, who were taken during the attack.
He noted that the abduction took place in Elewura, Challenge, a community that has recently recorded growing security concerns.
Security operatives have reportedly begun moves to rescue the victims and track down those behind the kidnapping.
The incident adds to rising fears over increasing cases of abduction and violent crime in Oyo State, particularly in Ibadan and surrounding areas, which have witnessed a string of similar attacks in recent times.
As of press time, the Oyo State Police Command had yet to release an official response regarding the development.
