Iran’s supreme leader has declared that the country’s navy is fully prepared to confront and overcome United States forces.
In a message reportedly released on Saturday, Mojtaba Khamenei cautioned that Tehran’s naval forces are on standby to counter the US, amid rising tensions between both sides over the Strait of Hormuz.

The statement, shared via his Telegram channel, marked a rare communication from Khamenei, who has not appeared publicly since before the conflict began.
He asserted that Iran’s “valiant navy is ready to make its adversaries suffer fresh setbacks.”
