The Ogun State Police Command has launched a probe into the deaths of former Ogun State Television (OGTV) presenter, Kitan Oyesiku, and her security guard, whose bodies were discovered at her home in Iyana Agodo Village, located in the Owode-Egba area of the state.
The incident was confirmed on Sunday by the Police Public Relations Officer, Oluseyi Babaseyi, in an official statement.

According to Babaseyi, police received a report from a concerned resident who noticed unusual activity around the property and alerted authorities. Officers subsequently visited the residence to assess the situation.
Initial investigations revealed evidence suggesting the house had been forcibly entered and ransacked.
The police spokesman explained that the security guard’s body was first found inside the security post, while Oyesiku’s remains were later located within the main building.
Investigators also discovered that the deceased broadcaster’s vehicle was missing from the compound, fueling suspicions that criminal elements may have been involved.
Babaseyi said, “Detectives were immediately dispatched to the location, where preliminary observations indicated signs of a break-in and disorder within the premises.
“A detailed search led to the discovery of the security guard’s body at his duty station, while Ms. Oyesiku was later found dead inside her apartment.
“In addition, her vehicle could not be found within the compound.”
He further disclosed that the Commissioner of Police, Bode Ojajuni, has directed detectives to conduct a comprehensive investigation, with efforts intensified to identify and apprehend those responsible.
The command added that intelligence gathering and surveillance operations have been expanded to key areas to help uncover the circumstances surrounding the deaths and facilitate the recovery of the missing vehicle.
Babaseyi extended condolences to the families of the deceased, the management of OGTV, and members of the media profession, describing the incident as deeply unfortunate.
He also appealed to members of the public to remain calm and cooperate with law enforcement by providing any information that could aid the ongoing investigation
