Tech entrepreneur Elon Musk has officially become the first individual in history to attain a net worth exceeding $1 trillion, further cementing his position as the wealthiest person on the planet.
Even before the latest valuation milestone, Musk’s fortune was estimated at approximately $813 billion—more than double the wealth of the world’s second-richest individual, Google co-founder Larry Page, whose net worth stood at around $288 billion, according to Forbes.

Musk’s personal wealth now surpasses the combined fortunes of the next three individuals on the Bloomberg Billionaires Index: Google founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin, as well as Oracle co-founder Larry Ellison.
The surge in Musk’s wealth has been largely driven by the soaring valuation of SpaceX. At its current market value, the aerospace giant would rank as the sixth most valuable publicly traded company in the United States, trailing only Nvidia, Alphabet, Apple, Microsoft, and Amazon.
SpaceX also oversees Starlink, the rapidly expanding satellite internet network that has become a profitable venture, alongside xAI, Musk’s artificial intelligence company responsible for developing the Grok AI chatbot.
The historic milestone marks another significant chapter in Musk’s business empire, which spans space exploration, artificial intelligence, internet services, and advanced technology innovation.
