Cardi B has finally spoken out following widespread speculation about her personal life after she was recently seen spending time with Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye.
The Grammy Award-winning rapper addressed the buzz in a video posted to her Instagram Story on Monday, a few days after she and the Udinese shot-stopper were spotted enjoying dinner with friends in Venice, Italy.

Speaking about the constant attention surrounding her, Cardi B said she feels like every aspect of her life is placed under a microscope.
“No cap, I’m really hip hop’s Britney Spears,” she said, implying that public interest in her life is unusually intense.
The rapper explained that she is aware of many private relationships and behind-the-scenes happenings involving other celebrities, yet those stories rarely receive the same level of media attention.
“I got all the tea on these celebrities… I know who’s with who and what’s doing what. But guess what? Nobody reports about it. You want to know why? Because nobody cares,” she stated.
Cardi B added that even the most routine moments in her life quickly become subjects of widespread discussion.
“But when it comes to me… I can’t even… do anything without people talking about it. This is crazy,” she said.
Despite the constant public scrutiny, the award-winning artiste noted that she has come to accept the realities of fame.
“You’ve got to take the good with the bad. It is what it is. People pay for this type of talk,” she added.
Her remarks come as speculation continues to grow over a possible romance with Okoye. The rumours intensified after the two were seen dining together at Gio’s Restaurant inside the St. Regis Hotel in Venice.
They had also attended the Jean Paul Gaultier Fall/Winter 2026 Haute Couture Show during Paris Fashion Week weeks earlier, a public appearance that further fuelled speculation about the nature of their relationship.
