Paris FC have confirmed the appointment of Liam Rosenior as the club’s new head coach.
In a statement released on Tuesday, the Ligue 1 side announced that the Englishman has signed a contract running until June 2028 and will officially begin work on Thursday, July 9, when the squad returns for pre-season training.

Rosenior succeeds Antoine Kombouare, who joined the Paris-based club in February and successfully guided the team away from relegation danger, leading them to an 11th-place finish that included impressive victories over Monaco and reigning champions Paris Saint-Germain.
The club explained that following discussions between both parties after the season, a mutual decision was reached to end Kombouare’s tenure as Paris FC prepares for a new phase in its development.
The appointment marks Rosenior’s third managerial role in less than a year. The 41-year-old was dismissed by Chelsea in April after spending fewer than four months in charge, having previously left Strasbourg, where his attractive attacking style helped the club secure a place in the upper half of Ligue 1.
Paris FC praised their new coach, describing him as one of the brightest managerial talents of his generation despite his relatively young age.
The club also highlighted his growing experience at the highest level of the game and expressed confidence in his ability to lead the team forward.
Antoine Arnault, representing the Arnault family, owners of Paris FC through the LVMH luxury group, welcomed Rosenior’s arrival and expressed optimism about the club’s future.
“My family and I are delighted to welcome Liam to Paris FC and to see him return to French football,” Arnault said. “I have always admired his football philosophy and the impressive work he has done with teams built around young players.”
