The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced a fresh extension of the timetable for the sale and submission of expression of interest and nomination forms, along with the screening schedule for aspirants ahead of the 2027 general elections.
This was disclosed in a statement on Monday by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka.

According to the revised timeline, the sale of forms will now run until midnight on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, while submission of completed forms has been extended to midnight on Thursday, May 7, 2026.
Screening of aspirants is scheduled to take place from Friday, May 8 through Tuesday, May 12, with the list of cleared candidates to be published on Wednesday, May 13.
The process was initially billed to commence on April 25 and conclude on May 2, 2026, but the rollout began a few days behind schedule.
The APC has pegged its presidential nomination form at ₦100 million, while governorship aspirants are required to pay ₦50 million.
Those seeking seats in State Houses of Assembly will pay ₦6 million, House of Representatives aspirants ₦10 million, and Senate hopefuls ₦20 million.
