President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has arrived in Lagos following a diplomatic tour covering France, Kenya, and Rwanda.
The President landed on Friday evening aboard Nigeria Air Force One at the Presidential Wing of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja, at about 7:12 pm.

He was received by top government officials, including Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Deputy Governor Femi Hamzat, Chief of Staff to the President Femi Gbajabiamila, and Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly Mudashiru Obasa, alongside other senior aides and officials.
During his stay in Lagos, Tinubu is expected to participate in the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary elections scheduled to begin on Saturday.
In a message to party members ahead of the exercise, the President urged calm, unity, and sportsmanship, calling on stakeholders to conduct themselves in the interest of the party and the nation.
While in France, Tinubu engaged with international investors, promoting transparency and fiscal discipline while defending the pace of his administration’s ongoing economic reforms.
He also took part in the Africa Forward Summit in Nairobi, Kenya, which was co-hosted by French President Emmanuel Macron and Kenyan President William Ruto.
At the summit, he advocated for reforms in the global financial system and stronger African economic integration to accelerate growth and development across the continent.
Tinubu further highlighted Nigeria’s blue economy potential as a key driver of regional prosperity, and expressed readiness to share the country’s maritime intelligence systems with interested Gulf of Guinea partners.
In Nairobi, he also held bilateral discussions with Madagascar’s President Michael Randrianirina.
In Kigali, Rwanda, the President joined African leaders, global investors, and chief executives at the Africa CEO Forum, where discussions centred on boosting Africa’s economic transformation through regional cooperation, expanded markets, and cross-border investment.
He also held talks with Rwandan President and host Paul Kagame, as well as engagements with delegations from major organisations including the International Finance Corporation (IFC), APM Terminals, and Winme Group, which yielded positive outcomes.
The President also participated in panel discussions focused on Nigeria’s economic reform agenda and broader development strategy.
