The Commissioner of Police in Ogun State, CP Olabode Ojajuni
The Commissioner of Police in Ogun State, CP Olabode Ojajuni, has visited the Ibogun campus of Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU) following an attack on students by suspected hoodlums.
The incident reportedly left several students injured, while valuables were also stolen during the assault.

According to the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Oluseyi Babaseyi, the CP was received by the Vice Chancellor, Professor Ayodeji Agboola, alongside other senior officials of the university.
During the visit, CP Ojajuni held discussions with students and members of the host community, focusing on security concerns and the need to strengthen collaboration between the police and residents.
In response to the attack, the Students’ Union Government of OOU has imposed a curfew on students, describing the violence as unacceptable.
The Students’ Union President, Comrade Bamgbose, in a statement, said students should not be forced to live in constant fear or uncertainty over possible attacks in their residences.
He stressed that the situation demands immediate and firm action from relevant authorities.
