Stanbic IBTC has announced plans to extend its Nigeria Business Summit beyond Lagos through a nationwide regional tour aimed at deepening engagement with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across major commercial centres.
The initiative follows the success of the maiden Lagos edition, which attracted close to 2,000 participants and recorded strong attendance, active participation and positive feedback from business owners and other stakeholders.

In a statement, the bank said the regional tour is intended to bring the summit closer to entrepreneurs by delivering market-specific insights, expert guidance and valuable networking opportunities within their respective business communities.
According to Stanbic IBTC, the tour will begin in Onitsha on July 1, 2026, before moving to Aba on July 8, Ibadan on July 15, and concluding in Kano on August 5, 2026. The phased rollout is designed to engage SMEs in key trading hubs while addressing the unique opportunities and challenges facing businesses in each region.
The bank explained that every stop on the tour will feature a carefully curated programme focused on equipping entrepreneurs with practical knowledge to support business growth. Activities will include presentations by industry experts on access to finance, trade opportunities and business expansion, as well as interactive masterclasses and panel discussions.
Participants will also have access to dedicated enterprise clinics, where Stanbic IBTC relationship managers and business specialists will provide personalised advisory services on funding options, digital banking solutions and strategies for scaling their businesses.
